Help me give my students induction cooktop burners, nonstick cookware, food processors and more to have a successful student run cafe so that they can be inspired to become master chefs and future owners in culinary arts businesses.

My Students
We are a small school with about 160 students. Last year we started up an in-house cafe that allowed us to find new, creative ways to build our students' job skills during school time. The addition of a cafe has inspired our students to become master chefs with the ultimate goal of ownership in culinary arts businesses. In addition, they have been able to apply skills and lessons learned from our curricula including math, economics, nutrition, and biology while also building on their soft skills like customer service and hard skills such as management and inventory. The cafe will allow them to broaden their college and career choices. Now it is time for Phase 3 of the Tigers Den Cafe.
My Project
Phase 3 is about stepping up the game in our student-centered cafe. This project, when fulfilled, will give our students the tools they need to successfully run a true cafe that will support the school and local community. Students will benefit by learning what they will need to have success in a culinary arts business. Sales from the cafe go right back into supporting our students so that they are able to succeed in life.
Phase 3 will be what makes us stand out from other school cafes that exist.
One specific learning outcome is that students will be able to prepare at least one new meal each week. Our students are looking forward to this next step and can't wait to see how these new tools will make a difference in their learning.
