This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I work with students who have been diagnosed with multiple disabilities. The various personalities that my students (STARS!) have never fails to put a smile on my face. I am truly blessed to have the job that I have. I am a new teacher and have a new classroom. I am trying to put it together, but due to limited funding I can only get a few materials at a time. If this project is funded, it will be very beneficial for me and the children in my class. It will help them grow and learn and they will be better able to access the curriculum. I am so excited about this project and the help that you can give us will really go a long way. As I have mentioned earlier, I have the most amazing STARS and I want to be able to be the best teacher I can be for them.
My Project
These materials will help students reach their full potential through interactive and hands on learning. They will develop my students social and emotional and educational needs daily. Help my students show their greatness through hands on learning! Help me expose my students to engaging hands-on learning materials.
These materials will be used to give students means of representation of concepts, multiple means of engaging in learning the classroom, instruction is more flexible and provides accessibility for all students.
My students will thrive and be well prepared to take that leap to the next grade level. Can you imagine being in a learning environment that had a vast amount of learning resources to help develop every skill and concept in the curriculum?
My students will be able to explore and learn at a much faster rate when using these materials. They will continue to thrive for years to come. I am so excited about whats to come with the use of these materials. Please support me in making my students the greatest!!
