My Project

As a 5th grade teacher I try my best to celebrate Black History all year. February is Black History Month and my 5th grade students will be engaging in a grade level Wax Museum. All 5th grade students have been given an African American Hero. They will research this hero, dress up as this figure, and speak about him or her to our community, parents, and peers.

I would love for my students to receive a book about their figure to have as a keepsake.

Not only will they have pictures and videos to commemorate this day, but they will also have a book that they can keep forever.
