My Students

I have a diverse group of amazing third, fourth and fifth grade learners with unique learning abilities and needs. But one thing they have in common is that they enter my classroom with an enthusiasm for learning.

One of the reasons I love working with my students is that they are like sponges and soak up everything they hear and see in their environment.

Even when you think they're not paying attention, you'll be surprised at how much they can tell you about the lesson.

My Project

For the first time since the pandemic, my students will transition to in person learning. When they enter my classroom, I want to create a positive first impression and make them feel comfortable.

The polka dot bulletin board border will spruce up my classroom.

This will help my students feel welcome and adjust to their classroom environment. The eye catching green book bins will be the focal point in our library. These bins will make it easier for my students to access their leveled books. Finally, the giant classroom timer will enable my students to move from group to individual work. These materials will give my students a positive first interaction and help them learn throughout the year!
