My Students

I have 25 diverse kindergarteners. With students coming into kindergarten with different academic and developmental levels it is important to have the resources available to meet the needs of every student.

My students come from diverse backgrounds and each has different needs that we would like to meet.

Many of these students are just beginning their road in education whereas others are coming from a pre-k or day-care experience.

Kindergarten students are typically excited about school beginning and this group is definitely ready for learning and developmental play.

My Project

My current classroom carpet is very old and dingy. It is not inviting and exciting for little people. This new carpet will be great for shapes, colors, and a visual to know where to sit.

Classroom management is a key component of kindergarten and a carpet like this will be essential to helping meet our classroom expectations.

One of our math standards it to know 2-d and 3-d shapes. This will be helpful when seeing these shapes and hearing this math vocabulary each and every day.

It is always fun to play games and exercise in kindergarten during our brain breaks.
