Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The school building always give students the feeling of a strict and serious institution where learning and testing take place. In reality, children spend more of their waking hours in school than their home.

If we can make the classroom more welcoming and comfortable, it can be their second home!

When the classroom is clean, beautiful, and decorated - it would attract their attention, keeps them interested/awake/alert. This project will provide a comfortable bench and pillows for them to sit and relax, and decorations to celebrate various holidays. We want students to have a space where they want to spend their free time/lunch period - to create a sense of belonging; a place that they look forward to coming to every day.
