Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are wonderful, creative, amazing human beings. We all live in the same town and are so proud of our city and the school family we have at NSW. I have curious learners who spend their days immersed in thoughtful and inquisitive learning.

Third grade is an amazing time for growth and I am so proud to see my students transition from timid second graders to full on independent learners in a matter of months.

I am also in admiration of everything they continue to teach me.

My Project

As we return to in person instruction, I want my students to feel safe and organized. The transition is going to be challenging after a year and a half away from the classroom. I want my students to come back to a classroom that feels like a home away from home. I want them to be able to store their supplies safely and complete every day learning activities in the most organized way possible. These supplies will allow them to have their belongings stored safely and allow them to have what they need to begin in person instruction.
