Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Help me give my students a welcoming classroom environment when they are ready to return to school by helping decorate their classroom.

As a teacher in a low-income, high poverty school district, I know that my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.

Despite the many challenges faced by the district due to the pandemic, I am determined to give my student creative and meaningful learning experiences that will wake their natural abilities to explore and create in the real world. With the materials I am asking, I will be able to provide this by creating a welcoming classroom environment when we are ready to return to school and also at home in our home created classrooms.

With the novel, COVID-19 pandemic hitting our schools, teachers are working not only to meet students' needs during distant learning but also are getting ready to return back to normal. By creating a warm welcoming environment at home so that we can zoom with our students, but also by planning ahead to have our classrooms ready for when the time comes to welcome our students back.

My Project

The materials that I have requested will make it possible for students to return to a welcoming classroom atmosphere. They will help brighten our classroom and get our minds ready to learn. The inspirational wall vinyl decals will inspire students to do their best and stay focus on their goals.

The students will feel welcome in both the Zoom classroom as well as the school classroom as the classroom decoration will help make the learning environment welcoming and warm.

Students need to be inspired and having a well-decorated classroom environment will brighten up their day and motivate them to learn.
