Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The sunglasses and luau accessories will spark the student's socialization skills and begin to become comfortable with each other. My students deserve a great welcoming back to school! I want them to feel special and excited for what is about to come. Learning should be fun and engaging, building trusting relationships right from the start is important. I know that some of my students feel apprehensive about starting in a new school and beginning middle school.

This welcoming luau will break the ice and allow my students to build community and get to know each other.

I want them to feel joyful and excited about the school year. This welcoming back party will create an environment where students will not feel alone and lay the foundation for the year.
