This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Getting my students out into the world to have real life experiences that connect to our classroom learning is vital to my students growth. Field trips help my students contextualize what we are learning in school and something that they look forward to!

Being prepared for all types of weather is of the utmost importance.

Whether it is rain or sun I want my students to be prepared so we do not have to cancel any of our fields trips for the reminder of the year and for years to come.

The last time we went on a field trip where it rained we had to make our own DIY ponchos out of plastic bags. While it worked it would be so much better for students to have actual rain ponchos.
