My Project

I have a great group of students this year that really enjoy learning. However, we are impacted by severe weather, tornadoes, and strong winds.

When the bad weather hits, students experience a wide range of emotions.

Our students express concern for their families that are not with them. They are fearful of the effect they will have on our school. Most of this concern comes from students not being aware of knowledge of the storms and what they can do to be safe. I am requesting a printer, ink, and paper to help my students deal with the threat of these storms. My students will work on flyers that we can post throughout the school to share what we have learned about the impending threats of bad weather. This project will not only help the students that will be making the posters, but it will help others in the school that will see information about these threats and how we can deal with them.
