Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

By the end of the year, I want my students to be able to tell anyone about the weather changes during the four seasons.

I have 19 wonderful students in my classroom this year.

A day in my classroom is always an exciting day. These kindergarten students are ready to learn and have fun while doing it. My school has 75% of students qualifying for free/reduced lunch. They are full of joy and happy to be there every day.

My Project

I am getting my masters in K-8 STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. I have an action research project that involves teaching my students about weather changes and the four seasons. These weather and seasons book will help my students achieve their goal of learning about the weather. I will read the stories to them and some may read the stories to each other as well.

These books will change my students' lives for the better because they will see real pictures in the non-fiction books.

We don't experience snow here in Nevada, so seeing real photos will be great for them. Having both non-fiction and fiction is important for Kindergarten to learn about, the difference between real facts and a non-real story.
