Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Writing math formulas on t-shirts transform learning into a hands-on creative experience. It helps students actively engage with the material, reinforces memory through repetition, and encourages collaboration as they showcase their work, plus it makes learning feels fun and personal.

The goals for this project are to help students better understand and memorize math formulas, encourage creativity and personal expression in learning, foster teamwork and collaboration and make math feel fun and approachable through a unique hands on activity.

My students are young kids eager to learn, however, I have noticed that lately they struggle to show interest, not because they do not want to but because traditional paper and pencil tasks feel boring.This activity will bring out the mathematician inside each of them.
