My Project

The new school year is rapidly approaching and we need to have our incentive snacks in place for our first Achievement Party. When the students work hard, we all get to celebrate with powdered drink mixes in our water bottles and flavored gummy bears to take home. In Hawaii we make li hing mui gummy bears with dried, preserved plums, lemon juice and dried lemon peel. The kids all love it so much and it pushes them to work hard to get the prize. It's a simple prize, but something that everyone loves. This quick snack is a great prize for our Achievement Party and we will also have hot dogs and drinks.

My students work very hard to get the garden in tip top shape, and I try to always have something yummy for them as their reward.

We got a water dispenser for the classroom a while back, so we always have cold water when we get back from working outside in the hot sun. These sugar-free powdered drink packets will make that water taste even better. And the gummy bears will be a nice treat for them for working so hard. My students will earn these perks during the first quarter after we pull all the weeds and get the garden ready for planting seeds.
