Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As part of my 2nd grade students “good citizenship” project, they will be designing and implementing a school wide kindness rock garden.

A kindness rock garden is a space where painted rocks with positive messages are hidden for others to find.

You can keep them, give them as gifts, or leave them for someone who might need encouragement. The goal is to spread kindness and positivity while connecting students.

The rocks and paints we are requesting will be used to lead a rock painting session for all of the campus. The gardening materials will be used to create a beautiful space in our playground area. With your donation, we will be able to spread kindness while learning how to show good citizenship at school and in the world.
