Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my district, we as teachers are to push students and increase the literacy and mathematical scores. In addition, students need support with manipulatives to help them with these subjects. In this project, these items will provide students with opportunities to use resources and guide them to mastery in core subjects. I teach students with IEP's in which they benefit from manipulatives or sensory materials.

With items such as social-emotional prompts, liquid sensory viewers, number bots, tactile letters, practice cards, and etc, students are receiving the accomodations that are needed to make the environment least-restrictive.

Other than those items, storage boxes, cleaning wipes, markers, glue, pens, wite out, and etc will keep the classroom organized and well equipped for any lesson that is taught. Furthermore, students will be able to use the materials whenever it is needed. Abundantly, all of these materials will benefit my students because it will meet them where they are and help them gain a new experience of learning.

As I want to accommodate all of my students, they are very enthusiastic and ready to learn new things. Students inflict resilience and happiness in the classroom which makes learning exciting and interactive because they are engaged.
