My Project

My students are amazing! They are eager to learn and participate in new activities, however, a lack of experience and materials will hold them back.

My students need a lot of hands-on experience to help them learn and retain information, especially in math.

All of my students in my class struggle with counting to ten and will have a difficult time meeting the standard of counting to 100 by the end of the year.

We need lots of different things to count to help build our counting skills.

The linking chains will help students represent numbers by building chains of given quantities. The cubes and bears will not only help with counting and representing numbers but will also help build necessary fine motor skills due to the cube's size. The play doh will help make math an accessible sensory experience.
