Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We love to play musical instruments and it would be great to welcome a brand new drum set into our classroom to learn and play!

I teach music to children who are on the autism spectrum in New York.

The children range in age from pre-k to upper elementary. My students are enthusiastic learners, and love participating in all kinds of musical learning activities. They enjoy dancing, singing, and playing musical instruments.

My Project

We need a starter drum set to add to our beginning elementary school band. Our students really enjoy music and learning how to play musical instruments. With the new drum set, the students will have the opportunity to learn different rhythms, and gain self-esteem and confidence, while working cooperatively with their peers when playing in the band.

Your donations toward our new drum set will make a difference for my students.

Our project is so important because it offers many wonderful musical educational opportunities for my students. They will learn many new musical skills and will be able to perform with it for our school assemblies. It is my hope that the drum set will become a new addition to our classroom. With your help and generosity, it can be done! Thank you in advance for everything!
