We want to do PE!

My Students

What do you think of when you hear the word PE? Many children might moan and groan thinking of it as boring and only running, doing push-ups and/or sit-ups. Today, PE can be brought into the elementary school curriculum in a much more fun and active way but special equipment is needed!

My class is comprised of 32 energetic kindergartners attend a high-performing school in Southern California who love to go outside and run around.

Children in my class range from non-preschoolers to second-year kindergartners. Like many other schools, we are suffering from drastic budget cuts.

My Project

My students need poly spots, bean bags, playground balls, fluff balls and hula hoops to successfully implement a school-wide, fun-filled PE program that I have been trained to use. Through the use of this equipment, children will be able to do many activities and play games that will enhance their locomotor skills and large motor skills while staying engaged and having a positive attitude about PE.

PE is often left on the back burner because of budget cuts and/or lack of supplies.

I do not want to see the children of the future suffer important skills due to not having the materials needed to successfully implement a PE program.
