My Students

Play-Doh allows an interactive tactile experience that is so essential for young learners.

My students are from hard working families, however this leaves very little time to explore art.

I am trying to expose them to some of the great artists. Supplies run short very quickly. There is no money for replenishment. Please help these students reach their full potential. I would like to give them access to Play-Doh to allow them to make sculptures

My Project

The students will use play-doh to create their own sculptures based on various American artists. We will be using the lens of history to study these great artists. They will then create their own sculpture based on their favorite artists style. Many of these students do not get the chance to visit a museum, and this may be their only exposure to art.

These art supplies are just a resource for the children to use, many of these children would not be given the opportunity to create art without them.

We must hold on to the very things that show the beauty of life and art is essential to convey that to students.
