My Project

Kindergarten is all about practice. Our students are learning important skills across all subject areas (Reading, Writing, Math, Phonics, Science, Social Studies) and we need paper so we can practice, practice, practice!

We use paper to make graphic organizers to help build our understanding of what we read (story maps, retelling, main ideas); we use paper to write and draw stories from our lives (personal narratives); we also use paper for publishing our best work after we have our drafts; we use paper to practice our phonics--handwriting/letter formation, spelling/sentence writing; we use paper to help show our thinking in math.
