My Project

I need a variety of items that will help my students in school. The books will be used during our daily read-aloud time. During this time I teach important comprehension skills. The mini-whiteboards will be used at my small group table so that I can make sure each student is engaged, and then I can understand what they know, and what they still need help learning. Whiteboards help with this because I can see a response from each student.

We all want to be surrounded by a fun and peaceful environment.

Simple items, like seasonal lights, make the classroom more fun and engaging. I want my students to be thrilled to come to school each day. While I strive to continually plan exciting lessons, the classroom environment plays a major factor as well. I want to decorate our classroom with seasonal lights to make the classroom a bit homier.

Lastly, the sensory rings will be used for my students with IEPs who need fidget toys. We want to provide the students with something small they can play with so they do not have to focus on sitting still. If they have something to use to get their extra wiggles out, then they can use their brains to focus on the lesson. The frisbees will be used during P.E. and they will allow the students to practice hand-eye coordination as well as gross motor skills.

All of these items will help make our day run smooth, and they will help add in a little fun!
