My Project

At FES, we emphasize showing Kindness and Empathy as part of our Community of Culture and Belonging. To expand this expectation, we will be implementing school wide Kindness and Empathy initiatives, including bulletin boards in each grade level hallway. We will use bibliotherapy in the classroom to expand our students awaress regarding Kindness and Empathy towards themselves and others. We will focus on our behavior expectations of SOAR. I will create Kindness bulletin boards throughout the school. In addition, I will award students Kindness awards for showing Kind behavior.

Our Falcons SOAR by being Safe, Owning their actions, being Aware of others and Respecting themselves and others, while being Kind and Empathetic.

Students will be recognized for showing ongoing Kindness and Empathy.
