My Project

We want all of our kids to see themselves in everything that we do within the classrooms. Reading daily helps our students absorb a sense of self, family, community, diversity, and expands their little minds to see beyond the day to day.

Our school is located within a highly populated Hispanic community.

A majority of our families and children’s home language is Spanish.

This is why I’ve posted this project here. We are in need of both bilingual and Spanish books for our classrooms.

We believe it’s important for every child to see themselves within their classrooms with displays, in the dramatic area and dress up, to the baby dolls of different cultures, the music we play, and especially in our daily reading.

Your donation to fund this project will help us teach our children about diversity and give them all a sense of belonging.
