Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My studious 3rd grade scholars are currently attending school in a hybrid model. My students are both English Language Learners and students whose first language is English, they show up eager to learn each day. They enjoy reading diverse books, learning with hands on stem activities and participating in interactive math lessons.

My students come from very diverse backgrounds.

My students are 2 separate groups that each learn with me for half a day. I have a large ENL population, they are eager to learn and enjoy every minute of it. My students are general and special education students. They are all amazing kids!

Teaching the youth of today is very exciting…Soon, the youth, will be our leaders of tomorrow.

My Project

My students have been working so hard all year in a hybrid model. Despite our students learning in this model, they will be taking state assessments this year. I know that even though it may seem stressful, my students will work hard and show what they know. This project was designed so that after they work hard, they will be able to celebrate with a pull pinata, costume and candy. This incentive will give my scholars something to work towards and look forward to.

In addition, I am requestion additional hand sanitizer wipes and masks to keep everyone healthy as we navigate teaching and learning through a pandemic.
