Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help my students get what they need to be successful in reading comprehension. The Pop It Game for CVC and Words is to help students in learning vocabulary words through the Science of Reading. The half notebooks will help with providing students with notebooks to practice their writing skills and developing vocabulary skills. The social emotional learning items will help with students and their way of handling their emotions appropriately. If they are able to regulate their emotions in an appropriate way, they are able to focus more on learning.

My goal is to help my students build and develop a love of reading, thus a love of learning!

As students get older, they focus more on assessments and reading to learn. Alas, more and more students fall further and further behind. I want to help bridge that gap for my students. I want them to grow as learners, to grow in learning to read, and want to read to learn!
