Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At our school, we believe art can change lives and inspire creativity in children. I have the pleasure of teaching a diverse group of 1st graders and kindergartners, some of whom have special needs. These students are talented, creative, and always look forward to activities that allow them to draw and play with color!

Thanks to your donation, my students will be able to express their emotions, thoughts, and dreams, and experience the calming power of painting!

Even at this young age, students experience some level of stress and disappointment, which is part of growing. Painting with paint trays, photo frames, paintbrushes and canvas to help promote relaxation and provides a safe outlet for emotions through an enjoyable activity.

We are grateful for your interest in funding our project and giving these wonderful students the joy of painting their dreams!
