Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I absolutely love how diverse my class is. I have students who are from different cultural backgrounds, speak different languages/Spanish dialects, and have unique personalities. The majority of my students are English language learners. I also have students with special needs. I absolutely love how I have created a classroom culture of love, respect, and acceptance. My students love coming to school and spending time with one another.

My Project

My students are in need of headphones. Only 3 out of 26 students bought them this year and it has been extremely difficult for the ones that do not have any to focus on their own assignments online with all the noise in the background. I am also in need of face masks for my little ones and me. They are only 5-years-old and have had a hard time keeping them clean, intact, and on their face. I am trying my best to keep my busy bodies safe as well as myself from this pandemic.

Lastly, since the beginning of the year, I have been trying to create a classroom culture of love and acceptance.

I have added a couple of books that will teach my students to love and embrace each other's differences. We are ALL the Same and we are ALL Different... and boy it's a beautiful thing. Thank you and God Bless!
