This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We need updated AP Environmental Science textbooks! Our current books are dated and do not reflect the new AP standards. I have received ten books from the last donors choose grant and found a couple of used books from Ebay. I am requesting two more books-- aiming for a goal of 30 books. Let's get to 30 by August!

My school is a Title I school, that serves economically disadvantaged students.

Our needs are simple, a book to read at home in a flipped classroom setting, and labs and activities to do in the classroom. Our seniors will study chapter by chapter for the AP test and apply their knowledge to labs and real world situations.

Science changes on a daily basis and fifteen year old books are no longer up to the job. I hope you will consider my request for two more fresh books. Thank you for your time!
