Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We learn by doing! I teach young students who struggle with learning to read, spell, and write. Many of these students lack attention and desire to learn. I need to make reading and writing more interactive, but how?

Colorful markers are a novelty!

We will use the colorful markers to draw the student's eyes to specific spelling patterns within words. Children will use the markers to circle spelling patterns. This will help train their eyes and keep them engaged (in order to use the markers). The white board desk easel brings the writing within 24 inches of where the children sit, thus they are better to focus and engage in the lessons!
