My Students

In my class of 26 excellent and curious kindergartners, we do a lot of small-group/individual work that, as one can imagine, requires independent and student-run activities for some while I work with others. These Fire tablets will help me give more individualized attention to all levels.

I teach a wonderful group of students at a Los Angeles school where 36% of the students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, and 100% of the students receive free breakfast daily.

Our school loves to integrate the arts and technology into our academics because we know that many students get inspired and thrive in an atmosphere where they can explore with technology and have fun too. Many of our students speak another language other than English at home, and we have a wonderful blend of cultures at our school.

My Project

I have requested 6 Fire tablets for our classroom. While I'm teaching a small group of students, and my aide or parent is working with another group of students, we would love if our classroom also had a special"Tablet Center" where my students could use online apps to practice their reading skills and their numbers too.

Your donation to this project will help my class learn in one of their favorite ways - with technology!
