Help me give my students the supplies they need to finish out the year. These students have really pushed through and showed dedication to their work. We just need a little extra to help finish the year.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Nancy's classroom raised $189

My Students
I teach 2 fourth grade and 2 fifth grade ELA classes. During this pandemic we are doing an A/B hybrid schedule along with Distance learning. This is my first year as a certified teacher, however I know a majority of these students.
The students I have are visual/hands-on learners.
They like to see their progress in front of them. Since we are on a hybrid schedule the students will feel more comfortable learning in a small classroom setting. They will be able to express questions or concerns with something they do not understand. With the classes set up like this, I see more opportunity for growth.
My Project
My students come from a very rural community in Mississippi. As a 4th and 5th grade ELA class, we are constantly sharing the limited supplies that was brought in at the beginning of the year. Our stash has dwindles significantly in the past few weeks. The supplies that we received will help get us through the rest of the school year. Pencils and erasers are crucial to finish out the rest of the school year. The supplies that is received will only be used for classwork purposes by the 4th and 5th grade students.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
