My Students
Teaching a new group of students each year has its own challenges. One of these challenges is the need for new materials. That's where you come in.
This year I have been given the opportunity to work with students with autism, who are 5 years old.
They are lovable children, who are very eager to learn and use new materials. This is a new adventure for me. With the use of these new materials, I hope to help these students achieve to the best of their ability.
My Project
These resources will be a great help to my classroom. With the bean exercise ball, students can work on their balance and use it to take breaks to calm themselves. With the sorting cube and puzzles, my students will work on recognition skills of shapes, as well as animals, colors, and fruits. With the alphabet cards, students will be given the opportunity to practice their letters in a new way. Finally, with the use of the scissors, students with fine motor difficulties will be able to work on their cutting skills.
These donations will help enhance my students learning in the classroom.
Through the use of these donations, my students will be able learn more about the alphabet, practice their motor skills, and get the sensory input they may need.
