Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My class is undeniably comprised of an amazing group of culturally diverse students with other abilities. Their unwavering dedication to overcoming their language, learning and physical differences is exceptionally remarkable. My students enjoy learning, talking and laughing with each other. I am especially proud of the way they take on challenges and push themselves to learn.

The requested materials will give my students access the supplies they need for a successful school year.

The supplies will be able to provide each student with the supplies they need to do their classwork and homework and create a calming corner within our classroom. Every student will be given the basic supplies they need for a successful school year. The requested chairs and stools will provide the students with flexible seating arrangements.

The calming corner will be a welcoming, safe space within their classroom, where the students can go to when they need to take a moment for a break and deescalate and reset their emotions.

Every student deserves access to the supplies they need and a safe calming space. Please help me give my students the safe space they need and deserve.
