Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are full of energy and eager to learn especially at the beginning of the school year. They walk in each day with bright smiles on their faces inquiring about what they're going to learn that day. Unfortunately, my students come to school lacking many of the supplies necessary in order to be successful. They're growing up in the poorest congressional district in the country. This is why I need your help to provide my students with all of the materials they will need for the year. My goal is to make learning so fun that they realize the value of education and that it can take them anywhere.

My Project

Starting a new school year is always exciting. Students come in eager to learn and see what their teachers have prepared for the year. With the materials from this project students will be able to create travel brochures of ancient civilizations, colorful maps, ancient newspapers and much more! They'll also be walking into a beautiful classroom each day with vibrant colors and decorations. My goal is to make learning fun. Creating lots of projects for them to complete will also make them excited to learn! Helping students to become excited about learning will encourage them to stay in school and do their absolute best!
