My Project

My students at SLA-MS work really hard, but we're not quite at that intrinsic motivational stage yet; however, we like to earn punches in our punch cards and turn them in for incentives. I would love to be able to fill my closet with prizes and snacks that students work for in addition to the occasional surprise to make a kid's day. We've been pretty successful with our system this year that acknowledges the work the students do. I also like to have snacks on hand for kids who might be a little bit hangry and need a quick pick-me-up.

We need some help to stock our prize and snack closet!

It adds up pretty quickly, especially when my students are really fantastic and seeing that they are being successful, do even more. It also provides rewards and incentives for my students with positive behavior support plans that have reward components based in their goals. These little things make my students really happy and it's fun to have a little bit of joy in middle school.
