My Students

I teach a split class of kindergartners and first graders in Los Angeles where 32% of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch.

Our school is a wonderful blend of cultures, and many students speak another language other than English at home.

My students are fantastic, and they love researching and printing out information from the internet. My problem is that each year my classroom printer runs out of ink months before the school year ends. Not only do we need ink toner for essays that my students are working on, but my students need toner so they can print out the projects they are working on.

My Project

Kindergartners and first graders love to go to the computer lab to do research on animals. Often when they find important information online, they ask me if they can print out some of the pages. Unfortunately, our classroom printers are low in ink.

I have requested toner and ink cartridges for our classroom printers so my students will be able to print out their research and essays to share with their classmates' family.

Your donation to this project means that my students will have enough toner and ink to print whatever they need to create great projects to be presented to the class and family.
