My Students

I teach third grade at a small town, Title One school. I have a variety of students in my class. They love to have fun while learning.

I constantly get asked, "What fun thing are we doing today, Mrs. Hinson?"

I love hearing them say they love school and they think it is fun! In today's society, the children do not do well just sitting and listening to a lecture. They thrive with hands-on activities and group work. Whenever we do group activities, my students get really excited!

My Project

Where has all the glue and pencils gone?

I am asking for basic classroom supplies such as pencils, pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, post it notes and card stock to help add to our classroom.

It is amazing how all of these items disappear quickly in a classroom! These items will allow us to have a smooth running classroom with pre-sharpened pencils, a new pencil sharpener, post it notes to make notes, new dry erase markers (because what kid doesn't love writing on their desks?) and card stock to do holiday activities. All of these items are much needed in a third grade classroom.
