My Project

Flexible seating will allow my students to take charge of their independent work time by having a variety of seating options. We have eight of these chairs right now in our classroom and I have notice that students who have a hard time staying in their seat while working seem to be more focused when sitting in these chairs.

Having two more flexible seating options will give my students more options of where to work and leads to more engagement while working and a decrease in disruptive behaviors.

The wobble chairs that I have selected are an alternative to traditional seating. This allows students a full range of movement and the stability they need to wobble without tipping over! This will also help strengthen core muscles and encourage proper posture while doing fun and engaging activities.
