Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Multi sensory reading instruction plays an important part in my students learning. They are auditory and visual learners and read along and audio books would help boost their reading and comprehension.

I teach 6 wonderful students with autism in high need school.

They are five years old. Some of my students are not verbal but they will point to the books with CD when we have our classroom story time. All my students love to listen to the books on Cd's.

My Project

The audio books and books on CD that I have in my classroom have increased my students desire to learn how to read. I would like to expose them to different types of books on CD and have them start to follow along in their own book. This will increase their reading skills.

Your donation will allow my students to gain functional reading skills that they will use throughout their lifetime.

This will be the first step to accomplish their individual goals.
