My Project

I love teaching and learning from my students. I went into education because it is one of the most capable tools for empowering students' success and motivating their future. As a teacher, every day, I see the needs of my students. What they need, what they have, and the daunting task of helping them acquire these essential learning materials. My students are in desperate need of computer keyboards and mouses. Despite all the challenges, I love my students, and teaching them means the world to me. I teach in the inner city because I want to give back to the country, city, and neighborhood that took me in when I came to America. In NYC, like in most urban areas across America, we lack the funding our students need to help them achieve and close the disparity gap. Unlike schools with funding and people willing to invest in these schools, such generosity is not extended to most metropolitan areas. No matter how much money teachers like me spend from their income on students and classroom materials, it is not sufficient to meet the needs of all of the students.

Often, funding doesn't translate to computer keyboards or mouses, which students desperately require for work.

That is why I am always advocating for my students. I want my students to succeed, live, and work in a fairer society. Students can demonstrate their learning in the most creative ways when supplies are available. Students will use keyboards and mouses to access the computer for learning. The keyboard will allow the students to type letters and numbers, and the mouse allows the students to position the cursor and draw and execute program functions by clicking mouse buttons. Using a keyboard and mouse is an integral part of using a computer device. Please help!
