My Students

My Kindergartners are amazing! They are all so excited and eager to learn although a few come into my classroom without some basic knowledge of It is my goal to get all my students on track a prepare them for a bright future that is ahead of them.

My students are always so happy to come to school each day, they are very eager to learn although they often begin the year below grade level.

Some of the students do not receive the necessary support nor have the necessary resources at home. This makes it even more important for me to help push learning and offer the necessary support and resources at school. Our school is very supportive and provides this support to ensure that all students get the proper education. We strive to make sure that our students are given the opportunities to reach their goals. The teachers work very hard, including after school and on Saturdays to prepare for the week. We love what we do and our students know that they are number one for us.

My Project

It is very important to me that I provide all I can to ensure that I am giving all my students the opportunity to further their learning. Now that technology is ruling the world around us it has greatly contributed to the learning of many students. Being that many of my students have limited resources at home, such as technology, it is ideal for me to provide this resource in my classroom to expose students to this type of technology to aid in learning.

Having iPads in my classroom will expose my students to the many educational apps available which will be used as another resource to further learning through differentiated instruction.

It would be ideal to integrate iPads during center time by using the different apps which can help to reinforce what is being taught each day. Our school is now using an online reading program, iStation which is now available on Apple iPads.
