My Students

My students are 28 energetic students that come from many different backgrounds. We are an English Language Learner Classroom so not only are we learning 4th grade common core curriculum, we are also learning how to read, write and speak English. It is a daunting task but my students are always bright eyed and ready to learn every single day!

These students are energetic, vibrant, and inquisitive!

Everything is brand new for them so the teaching experience has been especially fulfilling and we are constantly growing!

My Project

So here we are in the classroom! We finally have 2 computers and a printer. We use it for various activities in Writing, Math, as well as Science and Social Studies. Due to this use, we are in need for more ink! My fourth graders and I would really appreciate this ink to continue our use of our printer.

I am currently teaching a class of 28 energetic, enthusiastic, and inquisitive 4th grade students.

Our school is located in a very high need community in Brooklyn, NY. Most of our students receive free lunches. We are always in need of resources. In this case, we need ink to continue to use our printer in our classroom!

So you're still wondering,"Why donate to this project?" Well, your help will ensure that 28 4th graders will continue to be exposed to technology and to be able to print their own work! My students are so proud when they have typed and printed their work. It is such a great motivating tool especially when it comes to writing! You will make it possible for these students to continue to grow in their academic experience. This project is important to continue to motivate our students to use technology more in their lives.

Finally, my students are being exposed to the use of computers and printing. With this ink, you will be providing my students an opportunity to continue on their academic journey. Thank you in advance for all of your help. My fourth graders and I will appreciate this gift for a very long time!
