Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello everyone, it's another exciting school year for our 4/5 self-contained bridge class. My class is made of 13 students who have different disabilities and cognitive levels but regardless of their disability, my students come to school every day smiling and ready to learn.

Their disabilities range from learning disabilities, Autism, Speech and language impairment and Downs Syndrome.

My students work hard and are learning reading, writing, math and how to interact with one another and be part of the school community while having a disability.

My Project

As we continue to learn and grow in the age of technology my students need individual headphones to use on differentiated online instruction.

With these headphones not only will my students be able to learn to navigate a laptop and have access to instructional programs that will help them learn and practice content that differentiates as they make progress.

These headphones will also help reduce the amount of noise and help create a quiet learning space for my students who can get easily distracted and are sensitive to external stimulation. These headphones will be a big part of our daily routine and will help my students make progress.
