This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students a more exciting classroom library! My students love to read, but we don’t have many books for them to choose from. A bigger variety of books would keep them excited about reading and help them learn and grow. With more choices, they can explore new topics, find stories they love, and become stronger readers. Expanding our library will make a big difference for them!

This project aims to create a more diverse and engaging classroom library to inspire my students' love of reading.

The books I’m requesting will offer a variety of topics, genres, and reading levels to ensure every student can find something they enjoy. These resources will help my students build their vocabulary, improve their comprehension, and develop critical thinking skills, all while fostering their curiosity and creativity.

My goal is to create a space where my students feel excited to pick up a book and explore new ideas. I want them to see reading as a fun and rewarding experience, not just something they do in school. This project will also help bridge the gap for students who may not have access to books at home, giving them the tools they need to grow as confident and successful readers.

Despite limited resources, my students show a genuine love for learning and a hunger to discover more about the world. They’re a diverse group with unique interests and talents, and I want to nurture that by providing them with the books they deserve. With your support, we can help them unlock their full potential.
