My Students

When it gets hot outside, it gets hot inside too! Help us cool down with an A/C unit.

I have 26 first graders who are eager to learn.

They are wonderful storytellers and mathematicians. I want to create a school environment that fosters their curiosity and love of learning. In our school, 54% of the students receive free or reduced price meals.

My Project

Students need a safe and comfortable space, and ensuring the proper temperature is an important part of this. Students need to stay cool in the hot summer heat of New York City. It is tough to learn when you are overheated, and students need to be comfortable in order to be able to learn and share all they know!

No one can learn if they can't stop thinking about how hot they are!

My first graders need an air conditioning unit to create a comfortable environment in which to learn and you can help us to get it.
