My Students

We spend a lot of class time reading and working in our library/meeting area and we need an inviting, comfortable space for students to sit and work.

I am a second grade special education teacher in an integrated classroom.

My students come from a range of backgrounds and possess a range of differing abilities. What my students have in common is a love of learning and a desire to work hard and do well. It is not always easy, but we work as a team towards everyone's success!

My Project

While my students are all so individual and unique as people and as learners, one thing all of my students have in common is a love for hearing stories!! Except, story time is cramped and uncomfortable because the rug we have is teeny tiny and gray. We need a vibrant, cushy and sizable rug to fit all of the students comfortable to sit and listen to a story, work on a group project or just hang during free library or choice time.

My students work hard to do well and they deserve a comfortable and inviting space that inspires them to strive for their best.

A new library/meeting area rug will be a huge boost to the atmospheric and environmental health of our classroom!!
