Can you hear me now? Our school has a greater number of students with hearing deficiencies, and we are trying to meet the needs of these and all students.
The population of our campus is extremely diverse.
I am the library media specialist at a middle school catering to seventh and eighth grade students, and our campus has an increase in students with hearing deficiencies. Our district has the supplies to make sure that each of these students has whatever he or she needs to excel, but each campus allocates the department from which the necessities come. This is where my budgetary constraints come into play.
My Project
With the extra supplies our hearing-impaired and all students will have a better sound system to enable their learning activities. The extra batteries and chargers will enhance the voices of both the students and the staff who are working together to grasp the learning concepts. Using the microphone system in our school with the help of the rechargeable batteries will project learning for student presenters and staff.
Your generous gifts can allow me to take care of these primary needs and not force me to cut creative options for all of our students.
Our needs will always be met, but the burning question is: "What will you sacrifice to meet the bottom line?"
