Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love teaching creative writing and my students love art. I am so proud for the growth my students have made in writing. Many started the new year barely being able to form letters. Now they are starting to write simple sentences. Some are even writing full paragraphs. I am just amazed by the growth they have made. I am requesting copier paper and a variety of sticker sheets that will allow me to incorporate both writing and art in a fun and engaging way. Students will use the sticker sheets to create their own picture. After using the stickers, students will write sentences and stories about the picture they created. This will help students write more detailed and descriptive sentences and paragraphs.
