Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our first batch of snacks funded through DonorsChoose made it through almost the first half of the school year. It is time for a restock to get us through spring break. Although there are many students that come in with their own snacks, there are a good amount that don't have anything to munch on before they board their bus.

Snack time is definitely a time of day that my students look forward to.

They especially like to feel like they've earned one by helping to keep the classroom clean. Regardless, I know that some students rely on snack time.
